CORPORATE LAW

The Companies Act, 2013, is the primary source of Indian company law, largely replacing the Companies Act of 1956. It is administered by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and officers of the Registrar of Companies (ROC). The ROC is responsible for incorporating new companies and managing ongoing company activities.
